Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service will share the key lessons learnt from their award-winning response to a major incident of Toddbrook Reservoir, Whaley Bridge in August 2019.
This session will outline Derbyshire FRS’s whole service approach which included frontline firefighters, control operators and support teams to ensure resources were in place across the rest of the county and essential safety messages/updates were communicated to the community.

This session will share guidance on how Lincolnshire County Council invested £8m worth of funding to procure Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue a fleet of 33 new appliances, including the latest generation of Scania truck chassis.
Other areas of investment included a wider spectrum of rescuing equipment, including the Coldcut Cobra and the Holmatro cutting equipment used at road traffic collisions, to help improve the safety and welfare of the firefighters.
